Lee Henley - 5 oz.
Lee Kung Man Shirt and Socks Knitting Factory (the present-day Lee Kung Man Knitting Factory Limited) was founded in 1923. Its founder, Mr. Fung Chou-yu, established a factory at Nam Cheong Street of Shum Shui Po in Kowloon, specialized in manufacturing knitted undergarments and socks. Lee Kung Man has set up a booth in as early as the 4th Exhibition of Chinese Products (1940-1941). Since exhibition was resumed after the war, Lee Kung Man was a regular participant at the exhibitions. Its sign board was visible at almost every exhibition, featuring the famous Golden Dear knitted shirt trademark. Their henley is often seen worn by the world infamous Bruce Lee.
The T-shirts are made from vintage tubular-knitting machines dating back to the 1950s at the L.K.M. factory in Hong Kong. L.K.M. - one of Asia's oldest operating mills - is among the few remaining factories worldwide in possession of such rare machinery. Due to the unique features of such antique knitting hardware and the time-consuming knitting process, the 100% Swiss cotton garments are unmatched in fineness of fabric as well as comfort. Wear yours with our Gurkha trousers and tailored sport coat for a "sportorial" look.
